Bug report

I am trying to run the following test code code:

import sys
import pprint
import trace

def func() -> None:
    print("Test")

if __name__ == '__main__':
    tracer = trace.Trace(count = 1,
        trace = 0,
        countfuncs = 1,
        countcallers = 1)
    tracer.runfunc(func)
    r = tracer.results()
    r.write_results(show_missing=True, summary=True, coverdir=".")

I don't see any ".cover" files after running the test. There is a previous bug reported and closed here #76089

CPython versions tested on:

3.14

    Raised the issue due to misunderstanding of the parameters as the countfuncs overrides trace and count. Closing this issue.
