Rake gives "NameError: undefined method extend_object' for class Singleton'" error for all rake commands#395

I was trying to use rake to automate some tasks which did not work, I tried calling the task manually, which gave me a list of warnings followed by an error, the error came on all rake commands, including rake -v

rake aborted!

I could not find solution for this anywhere, my ruby version is 2.7.0

    It will be really difficult to get any help without a reproducible steps, the maintainers and collaborators need a way to see what the problem is. With the lines posted it's complicated.

    What I can see with your starting points:

    is you have an app called discord_bot, perhaps the maintainer of that app can help better - assuming is also an opensource project.
